What's Inside This Class?
This class will teach you how to paint soft, delicate, loose-style watercolor floral compositions and bouquets, including:
- The wet-on-wet technique I use for creating soft petals and color bleeds
- How to paint the florals and leaves individually
- The key components of creating a well-balanced floral composition
- Project #1: Delicate Floral Composition
- Project #2: Sweet & Simple Floral Bouquet
By the end of this class, you’ll not only have the skills and techniques to create beautiful blooms in your future paintings, you will also have two works of art to frame, hang up in your studio, or use as inspiration as you continue on in your watercolor journey.
This class is suitable for beginner and intermediate watercolor artists, and anyone who appreciates floral and botanical art like I do.
Meet the Teacher
Welcome! It's so nice to meet you. My name is Priya, and I'm a watercolor artist and art teacher based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
I love painting loose floral compositions and greenery, designing stationery and paper goods, creating beautiful digital patterns to use on products, and teaching beginners how to paint with watercolors!

- Watercolor Paper - I'll be using Legion Stonehenge 100% cotton paper
- Round Watercolor Brushes - variety of sizes
- Watercolor Paints - feel free to use any colors you like
- Jar or bowl of clean water
- Mixing palette
- Paper towel
